Stainless Steel Queen Bee Clip
This is a spring-loaded, scissor-like metal clamp used during hive inspections to temporarily isolate the queen bee without harming her.
- How it works: You squeeze the handles to open the trap, place it gently over the queen, and let it shut.
- Worker-bee slots: It features built-in custom ventilation slots. These gaps are explicitly sized so that smaller worker bees can freely pass in and out to feed and tend to the queen, while the larger queen remains safely trapped inside.
- Material advantage: High-quality stainless steel resists corrosion, shrugs off sticky hive propolis or wax, and is easy to wipe clean between uses.
